Composing successes to date:

“Brass Together” - a series of tutor books for beginner Brass players with supporting ensemble music (duets - mixed ensembles). The catalogue extends to over 100 works.

“The Mermaid of Zennor” – a 40 minute Ballet based on a famous Cornish legend. (Full stage production premiered by Duchy Ballet in March 2010 and semi staged in January 2011).

Over 35 years of balancing and blending work in education and professional music making has helped him to mould his expectations of and techniques in encouraging musicians at all level to achieve their full potential while also listening , respecting and encouraging them to share their input towards achieving powerful performances. His cultural and personal “Rucksack” is brimming with experiences - many amusing, inspirational, exciting, highly-charged and not without a fair share of dramatic, challenging and difficult personal circumstances.

If you want to know more, why not book him to conduct for a special project or better still, engage the Cornish Sinfonia (the professional orchestra for Cornwall and the South West) or The St. Mewan Sinfonia (Cornwall’s leading amateur String Orchestra) for which he is the Principal Conductor/Musical Director.
